Team Leader (HOD) of Technology
The Motueka Technology Education Centre, based at Parklands School, is a purpose-built facility catering for Y7–8 students from 13 contributing schools. We seek an enthusiastic, responsive and competent Team Leader to join our innovative and creative technology team. A sense of humour is a must! The successful applicant will be expected to take an integrated approach to teaching across all materials areas. Two permanent management units and 0.2 release is provided.
The position will commence at a negotiated date.

Learning Support Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher who has the passion and expertise to make a difference in the lives of our learners within the position of learning support coordinator.
The successful applicant will be based at Parklands School (Motueka) and will work collaboratively across other schools within the Motueka Kāhui Ako.This permanent full-time role will:
Support students through building an inclusive school/kura and cluster environment which encourages participation, progress and successful transitions.
Support kaiako/teachers in schools to lift their capability to better meet the needs of learners, and to strengthen their connections with early learning services.
Support and build strong relationships with parents and whānau, building a better understanding around learning support and establishing points of contact if needed.
Work alongside other LSC's across the cluster and connect with the learning support facilitators and wider agencies to access all services and resources to support learners.
Work with each school’s leadership team to ensure the needs of all students are met and they receive the appropriate support to enhance their learning and progress.
The successful applicant will work closely with Management Teams, other Kāhui Ako LSC and a wide variety of stakeholders: staff, students and whānau, and external agencies. They will need to be passionate about inclusive practices and have demonstrated the ability to support the learning and progress of all learners as they transition in, through, and out of our schools.
