It was lovely to begin the term with a nice warmish winter day and to see our tamariki back in their uniforms, with smiles on their dials! 😊
We hope everyone had a relaxing break and that we have finally seen the back of some of the bugs and illnesses that were doing the rounds at the end of Term 2.
We have another busy and exciting term ahead of us!
Constable Wybrow will be working with our students from Friday 24 July. The programme each class takes part in will depend on the age of the students.
Rooms 1 and 12, Years 7 - 8: Drug, vaping and alcohol education
Rooms 2, 11, 10 and 4, Years 4 - 6: Road safety
Rooms 9, 8, 7, 6 and 5, Years 0 - 2: Keeping Ourselves Safe
The 7s Rugby Tackle Tournament for students in Years 4 - 8 will be held on Tuesday 28 July.
Further information will be sent home to the students involved.
Book Week will take place in Week 3, with a wide range of reading and book-related activities happening across the school.
On Friday 7 August, we will have our Book Character Dress-Up Day. Students can come dressed as any character from any book. We look forward to seeing plenty of creativity, colour and possibly a few last-minute costumes thrown together before school! 😂
We will also have a special visit from the Kiwi Kids Charity that day. They will be bringing lots of fun and entertainment for our tamariki, beginning at 10.00am.
Whānau are very welcome to come along and have a look!
