Becky, our Librarian

The library is a fun place to be, with lots of great books and magazines to read, as well as CD Roms and Internet sites to use..

In the library we focus on reading for enjoyment, and information, and we also focus on information skills. The children learn how to work out what information they need, how to find it, and then how to use it.

TO CENTRALIZE THIS FACILITY, The BOT looked at a way of moving the library to a more central location, and decided to convert Room 5, at the end of the Middle School classrooms.. It is extended forwards, incorporating the covered walkway, as a conservatory-type addition, and the access remodelled with new steps and an archway. Below is an image depicting the outer alterations.
