Room 8 Rocks! We are an amazing class of 24 Year 2 and 3 students. Our main aim for this year is to have lots of fun and to improve our reading, writing and maths. Other aims are to learn about ourselves and other cultures that make up our school whānau. Exciting activities this year will be the Tǔrangawaewae festival, and the school production, and we all want to take part in this.
	Tasha is hidden in the picture	Some of us participate in outside activities like swimming lessons and many of us play outside sport. We all enjoy jump jam, and having fun in all our work Our behaviour is always excellent and we have a lovely teacher called Amy Powick. We are a special class of a variety of cultures and wonderful personalities.

Room 8 has Helping Hands with lots of jobs to do to keep our class tidy. In this way we learn to look after our environment like we do at home. This also teaches us about recycling. We have good class rules and ways of assessing our work
